This is Steve Conro who for 5 years has gone on the Ride for the Relay and for 4 years he has been our leader out of Chicago.  Steve is our go to man for all your GPS information.  In the very near future he will be posting the whole Route 66 trip for your Garmin GPS.  It will be a few days so keep watching.    Oh, you may be asking yourself, "What is he doing on the ground?"  You will have to ask him. 

 

The following units have the capability to support custom routes.
 

Quest/Quest 2

StreetPilot 2600, 2700, 2800, 7200, and 7500 series

Any Zumo unit
 

Nuvi 500, 700, 705, 800, 805, 1400, 1600, 2200, 2300, and 3700 series

Any of these units will be able to support custom routes, though some can support more than others. However, the absolute minimum number of routes is 10 with any of these units, so you can set up at least 10 routes if not more.
