The Mini-Ride is a short overnight trip up Route 66 from Springfield, Illinois to Chicago just to give you an idea of what it would be like to go on the Ride for the Relay.

Each rider is asked to donate $33 to make the Ride.
There will be T-Shirts and Hats for sale.
May 7 8:00am Breakfast at Cozy Dog, 2935 South 6th St, Springfield, Illinois 62703
9:00am Leave Cozy Dog parking lot and head north on Old Route 66.
12:00pm Pontiac, Illinois for lunch. We will find a fast food place.
1:00pm I-55 to Downers Grove, Illinois and the Double Tree Hotel
4:00pm Meeting in Founders Room at the Double Tree Hotel
5:39pm Leave Hotel and go to Del Rhea's Chicken Basket for dinner.
May 8 6:00am Leave for Navy Pier for those who want to do that.
7:00am Leave Hotel for those that don't go to the Pier and head for Route 66
12:00pm Pontiac, Illinois for lunch and Route 66 museum photo of group.
2:00pm Ride is over.
